Quick update

Hey there ,

This couple of days I havent been working out like I should because I sprained my ankle very badly while playing futsal with  my mates, even walking slowly was a challenge for me but thank God I am getting better and better. Hopefully I will be able to go full intensity in this couple of days.

I noticed that there is always a rush of people signing up for gym membership after a certain celebration and this Chinese New Year is no different. I see alot of new faces in my gym which is good thing because more and more people are having health awareness but sadly from my limited experience so far this group of crowd doesnt last that long in the gym , they will stop coming to gym once their guilty concious is no longer there which is a very sad situation for mankind.

Anyway I am glad that I am still hitting the gym almost every single day but the hours I spent in the gym no longer that much compared to last time.

How are your workout regime going on ? I hope you are doing fine.

I will be going down to KL this weekend to attend a seminar on Certified Gym Instructor ( CGI ) by Fit Malaysia and hopefully after that I will be able to share more training method and tips with you guys as for now do whatever you are doing and prepare yourself to push yourself to another new level.

90:10 Ratio

Sorry for being away for so many days , coming from a rather conservative Chinese family there are alot of things need to be done once an elderly in the family pass away and being only the grandson of my dad parents my responsibilities in making sure everything is alright and making my presence felt among the relatives of my but nevertheless I am back.

This entry will be a very short entry of me sharing something I found out personally through this whole experience.

Have you heard of the 90:10 ratio theory ? Where people says 10% of the populations owns 90% of the world's wealth and 90% of the populations own the rest of the 10% ?

I recently found out that I could apply that theory in something else much more concrete.

Everyone of us had 24 hours in our life it doesnt matter you are the President of USA or some ordinary Joe.

So how I could apply that theory ? Is actually very simple application , if we indulge into extremely tasty and fattening food we will feel happy/glad/satisfied for 10% of the day which is roughly 2.4 hours while eating but for the rest of the day which is the remaining 90% you will fell terrible/wasted/tired.

If you use 10% of the day to do workout/exercise you will feel quite terrible/exhausted for 2.4hours but for the rest of the 90% of the day you will damn energertic/good/proud of yourself.

So do you want to feel EXTREMELY GOOD for 10% or 90% of your life ? Your choice.

Early Bird Fitness Test

Time to get started to get those extra pounds off your body , is time to get down to business. So how to start ? Well as for me the best way to start your journey is to have what I called a simple Fitness Test.

A Fitness Test at the beginning of your journey could be a good indicator of your progress throughout your journey because we not only wanted to cut those pounds off but at the same time we would like to get fitter and stronger.

What's a fitness test you say ? Well is a simple procedure where if you goes to the gym you can choose a few machine and test yourself with it .
1. Choose a machine
2. Select your desirable timing, suggested timing is 15 minutes per machine
3. Choose a level you most comfortable with
4. Have fun and enjoy the process
Choose at least 3 type of machines to see how you do in different pieces of machine , I would recommend threadmill ( running ) , biking and cross trainer so that you can test different kind of muscle group and as well as movement but of course you can choose other machine based on your preference.

So have you decided to take your life into your own hand and be accountable of your own action ?
If your answer is YES to that following question I would like congratulate you as you realise that life is so precious and you have so much to live for much much earlier me.

You are eager, you are excited , you are energectic to change your lifestyle to much healthier option but you don't know how to begin ? This post will give you some rough ideas or guidelines on how to kickstart it.

First and foremost thing you need to do is to get a reliable and proper bathroom scale/weighing machine, it will be best if you could get those that calculate your BMI , Body Fat % etc as well so that you could get a better picture of your health instead of just pure numbers that only reflects your weight.
